{Taking the Road Less Traveled in Moab}

Adventure lives up to its name in Moab, Utah!

We all saddled up in a Hummer for an off-road tour of the famous slick rock area know as “Hell’s Revenge”.

Everyone was super excited to go for a ride in this custom vehicle, but didn’t realize how much more exciting it would be once we arrived to our destination!

Looking back at where we entered the climb.

The view on our way in.

The journey ahead.

Where will the path lead to next?

Creeping over the rubble.

The desert to snow contrast.

Riding in style.

Sharing the road with a motorcyclist.

Keeping her safe!

One of the many steep climbs.

Blue felt like the right color for the day.

Following along…

The long winding road.

At times the path was a little tight.

We were told it was important to stay on the path, it was easy to see why with so many unexpected drop-offs.

Taking in the views along the way.

Feeling on top of the world.

Not sure what that guy was doing down there…

Running into a fellow adventurist along the way.

Going over the edge.

The road wasn’t always visible, so we hoped for the best.

Daddy’s little shadow for the day…

At times I wondered if we would make it up, ha!

Dinosaur footprint along the way!

A narrow descent.

Doing a little exploring before heading down.

A path not for the faint of heart.

We found the adventure to be so thrilling.

The steep climbs and fun stops along the way made the entire time fun for everyone.

The only thing we would have reconsidered was the time of day that we went.

Going during the heat of the day made it a little challenging with the kids at times, and therefore would have preferred to go in the morning or sunset hours.

The only benefit was that the pool felt that much better to cool off when we arrived back at the hotel!
