Sometimes getting away to a nearby destination can be worth its weight in gold.
The hubs and I decided we were in need of a quick weekend getaway to refuel our minds.
We chose to enjoy the views from the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley and spent the day roaming around the ever charming and iconic Main Street in downtown Park City.
Although we live in Utah, the beautiful scenery in Park City and Deer Valley never seems to get old.
It’s been one of those odd weather years so it was either hide from the cold, or embrace it full on.
Although we were secretly hoping for warmer weather during our getaway, the snow top peaks only added to the beauty of the mountains that surrounded us and helped accentuate the incredible landscape throughout the area.
Suggestions for Visiting Park City:
-Park City is less than an hour away from Salt Lake City. It is a very popular destination for locals to enjoying the beautiful mountains of Utah.
-Summer months are off peak season, while winter months are busy with many tourists making their way in for ski season.
-Park City has many activities and hikes for the whole family to enjoy.
-Be sure to park your car on one end of the charming Main Street and walk up and down. Spend some time exploring the many cute shops, interesting galleries and stop to enjoy delicious food/treats along the way.
-Depending what time of the year you visit pack accordingly. Pack a light jacket as the temperatures do tend to dip in the evening and nights.
With my best friend by my side, surrounded by pristine mountain views, I felt happy, renewed and ready to take on the world again.
