Our time in the Maldives at the Gili Lankanfushi Resort was like waking up to a dream everyday.
Heavenly soft sand unlike any other, lined by beautifully tall palm trees.
With contrasting clear turquoise water against the sand, it certainly made for an extraordinarily dreamy landscape.
Imagine the thrill of sleeping in a two-story over the water villa that sits just steps above a vast coral reservoir.
The easiness of access to the reservoir made for unlimited snorkeling opportunities.
Relaxing under the sun-rays on a lazy afternoon while drinking a piña colada, watching small sharks, fish and sting rays swim by, only further completed the uniquely calm ambience all around.
Getting lost in paths that lead to isolated beaches and riding bikes through picturesque jetties above the water made for a little adventure while in this tropical paradise.
We are often asked what our favorite place is that we have traveled to, Maldives is definitely my happy place on earth and at the top of my list.
As you look over these images I hope you can be inspired to visit one day and can understand why I so deeply fell in love with it.

This is definitely a place we’d love to stay! Isn’t it super hard to get there?

I must admit it was tricky to get there. It involved lots of long flights and a boat ride in the end. I suppose being there felt even more amazing knowing the hard trek it had been just to get there ☺️ Thank you for your wonderful words Catherine, I hope you can visit one day soon my dear 💗
