One of the most beautiful drives we have done has to be down the Big Sur in California.
The incredible coastal views at every corner will make you want to pull over and snap a photo just about every 5 minutes.
At least for me it did : )
My husband, however, put a break on stopping constantly since we did not seem to be advancing much along the way, ha!
Luckily for me, my trusted and quick SLR was able to capture still photos as we drove by.
Whether you are looking to take a relaxing drive, reconnect with nature or capture every detail on your camera like myself, this is the place for you.
Be sure to plan at least a full days trip to enjoy the sights, and if you come in the summer, renting a convertible car wouldn’t hurt.
At the end of our trek, we included a stop in Pebble Beach to see The Lone Cypress, not necessarily on the route of Big Sur, but definitely worth taking the small detour if you have the time.
If you haven’t yet visited this part of the world, I hope these photos will inspire you to do so.
If you have made this captivating drive before, be sure to comment on what your favorite part was as I would be curious to know.
